Global insurance organization AIG has launched New Takaful Venture, AIG Takaful - Enaya

On October 1st, 2006, AIG Takaful - Enaya was launched. Guests of the event included top officials of the Central Bank of Bahrain, as well as prominent members of the insurance industry.

Due to the diversity and vast growth of the Takaful Insurance Market, we launched AIG Takaful - Enaya, a regional company headquartered in Bahrain, providing Shariah Compliant Insurance Solutions (Takaful). AIG Takaful - Enaya provides a range of Takaful products, including Accident & Health, Motor, Personal Contents, Property and Casualty.

The phenomenal growth of the Takaful Market is something that we as a market leader recognize. We want to support this growth and offer socially responsible solutions to consumers in this region.

The Central Bank of Bahrain has worked hard to create a strong, market-friendly regulatory framework which, we believe, is essential for the sound growth of Bahrain's insurance sector, including takaful, and a precondition for attracting reputable insurance companies to locate in Bahrain. For this reason, we choose to license AIG Takaful-Enaya with the Central Bank of Bahrain.
